Squid, Fish Paste, Fish Balls, Basa Fish Fillets, Chicken, Beef, Do Miu Greens, Tofu, Cellophane noodles, Shrimp, Mussels, Taro Root slices, Oysters…mmmm in a steamy Chicken broth, cooked perfectly by your own hands with your own net. The weather was cold, windy and threatening to storm, but we were sloshing around the broth pots over 2 burners. The rice was plentiful, the sauce bar, divine and everyone ate till they couldn’t eat anymore. For our light dessert – some mini cream puffs and coffee. ahhh, life doesn’t get much better – Happy Valentine’s Day to the spouses and all the children that came and signif others.

MmmmmMelting Pot

Fondue for you?  M’ais oui!  Went with Irene, Jannette and Pauline to San Mateo and had a glorious time…service was great, food deeeelish, chatting up a storm, a lot of fun, even though I thought I was driving with Noah at the final stretch of 101 north looking for 3rd ave. exit — raining and pouring like Seattle.  Was worth the treacherous drive and the chocolate flambe’d and was glorious!  Merry Fatmas!
